Cedar Log Railing

This was our first big log railing project of the year. Pine logs are all too often used for outdoor railing. Even with proper protection, after a few years pine rots away quickly. Here at the Armstrong Creek Company we use nothing but northern white cedar for all our railing components ensuring a railing that lasts for years. With proper maintenence and care white cedar has the potential to last for decades. We used 8" diameter posts to match the large support posts and accents on this log home. We worked with Dressy Log Furniture. The guys at Dressy Log do much more than just railing. Check them out at www.dressylog.com
